FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT RECORDING SERVICE

HOW TO BOOK A SESSION?

It's easy! Just contact our admin via Whatsapp +6281312345856, or simply contact your favorite roemahiponk engineer for your session.

WHEN DOES THE SESSION START & END?

The session starts and ends as scheduled. You will have your session set up when the session begins. Prior to ending any session, make sure you allow time for doing rough mixes and backing up your session data to your storage medium.

HOW TO BLOCK THE SCHEDULE FOR MY SESSION?

You should make full payment in advance to block a session. If your preferred time isn't blocked (yet), it can be replaced by anyone who makes the earliest payment for it. Our admin and engineers will guide you through the payment when you book a session.

CAN I ASK FOR A ROUGH MIX?

Sure! You can ask our engineer to do rough mixes for your projects. Rough mixes should be done within the session.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY SESSION?

You can cancel your session anytime, but blocked sessions are non-refundable. So, please be mindful with your bookings.

I NEED MORE TIME FOR MY SESSION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You can extend your session and will be charged by hourly rate if there are no other blocks after your session and if the assigned engineer is available.

HOW TO BOOK A MIXING-MASTERING SERVICE?

It's easy! Just contact our admin via Whatsapp +6281312345856, or simply contact your favorite roemahiponk engineer for your session. You should make full payment in advance for the inquired service. Our admin and engineers will guide you through the payment and schedule.

CAN I ASK FOR REVISIONS?

Sure! Our mixing-mastering service rate includes 3x free alternate mix versions or 3x revisions per mix, instrumental/minus one version, and free 60s cutdown for social media posts.

I ACTUALLY DID A ROUGH MIX. SHOULD I SEND IT TO YOU?

It is always nice to have the artist/producer's mix or the rough mix as our reference. It will help us see the whole big picture or the initial vision of the song and translate the mix properly. If you have any, please feel free to send it along with your tracks.

WHAT IF I NEED ADDITIONAL REVISIONS?

Any additional revisions will be charged 350k/revision or by booking an attended/ unattended session for 350k/hour.

 

Any additional alternate mix versions (A Capella, Explicit/Non Explicit versions, Radio Edits, Stems, etc.) will be counted as one revision.

If you book a session for revisions or additional alternate mix versions, you can have as many revisions as you need, as long as they all are done within the booking time.

 

Hardware recalls, setup, and mix printing will be set up within the booking time.

HOW TO SUBMIT MY SONG FOR MIXING-MASTERING SERVICE?

Please send us a zipped folder containing your files (required file format: WAV 48kHz 24bit for each track submitted) through any of your preferred cloud storage services (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer, etc.) to our studio email roemahiponk@gmail.com (not our admin email).

 

Please do not forget to name the folder with the artist name and song title and name all the tracks properly to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.

SOME TRACKS ARE GROUPED. AND PANNED. AND PROCESSED. IS IT OKAY?

For grouped tracks (e.g. backing vocals, guitars, etc.) that have processed or panned to your preferences, it is totally okay to render the group and leave all the processings on. If we find any problems with that, we will surely let you know.

And, oh! You do not have to remove all the plugins before sending the tracks. If we find any problems with that, we will surely let you know.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINK TO THE STUDIO?

We're so sorry, but you can’t.

 

You still can enjoy meals and beverages at our coffee house downstairs. You might want to have a try on our signature coffee.

OPERATIONAL HOURS?

Monday - Saturday 10.00 - 22.00. We are closed on Public Holidays.

BUT due to the COVID-19 situation, we have several limitations for any attended session right now. Since we are committed to the health and safety of our engineers, staff, clients, and their families through the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will follow the latest guidance and/or restrictions from the government that might continue to evolve as the conditions of the pandemic change. While vaccination of the population has greatly reduced the risk of transmission, once we are allowed to open and get back in business, we will continue to follow most of the safety procedures and measures, including enforcing physical distancing, mask wearing, health screening, and maintaining cleanliness at the studio.

WILL YOU KEEP & STORE MY DATA?

We will keep your session data for only a year and our system will automatically delete it shortly after.

 

So, we highly recommend you to back it up to your own storage medium.
